Geranium ‘Dark Reiter’

This is a luscious, dark, velvety purple leaved geranium. It is slightly taller than ‘Purple Haze’. The flowers are a darker purple than wild geraniums and held high on 2’ – 3’ stalks, more stately than floppy. ‘Dark Reiter’ flowers best the more sun it has but will bloom in dappled shade. Prefers good garden soil, decent drainage. Perennial and seeds itself well in the garden. Great for bumble bees and other pollinators.
