Dwarf goat’s beard

A cute, short, compact version of goat’s beard. This variety has deeply cut foliage, kind of ferny. They do not spread as much as standard goat’s beard, clumps slowly enlarge. Like their relatives, the dwarf goat’s beard can grow in a variety of soils. In rich garden soil they will keep a dark green leaf. The flower spikes are a little thicker than large goat’s beard. All goat’s beards attract a variety of pollinators, mostly small insects. Perennial.
