Honeyberries have proved to grow in Southeast, yet they do not fruit as much as in the warmer Kenai Peninsula where they are grown commercially. However, they do make a good ornamental shrub and have nice fall color. Fruits are an elongated blue and are mistaken for a type of blueberries but are in a different plant family. If you have a warm, sunny spot with good airflow, you may get better fruit production. Plant in good garden soil, give the bush as bout 3 feet of space to grow into. Honeyberries do require different varieties near each other to fruit. Sorry, we only have one on offer, hopefully someone in your neighborhood has another! Perennial.
