Cushion spurge electrifies the gardens with its bright lime-yellow flower bracts in early summer. The plant makes a nice ball of color summer through fall, about 14” round with color all around. The excitement doesn’t end when flowering is done, the leaves slowly change through orange, to red, and that is where it gets its polychrome name- many colors. This euphorbia seeds itself around the gardens. It likes good soil, doesn’t have to be fancy, good drainage, and blooms best in more sun. Perennial.
